Letters from Readers
A.R. - I want to let everyone know how awesome God is. I stumbled across this site, and I thank God for that blessing. Just reading some of these other letters is uplifting to my spirit. It's such a blessing! I'm writing because I'm on fire for God and I want everyone to know how AWESOME he really is. About 2 years ago, I didn't want anything to do with church, but I was made to go anyway because of my parents. Now I'm the one that is pushing my parents out the door to go to church. The Lord has truely blessed me and brought me through all of my troubles one by one. Now I can't stop praising Him. So, my message is this: Now matter what, the Lord will bring you through whatever it is that you're going through. And when He does, it's just something more to praise Him for. The Lord is truely AWESOME!
E. - I was reading this webpage and I accepted Jesus Christ into my life. Thank you. I meant that prayer with all of my heart. I am writing to you so I can obey God. I must tell people about my decison. I thank the Holy Ghost coming in through all of you to make this site. Please pray for me.
J.T.A., Amman, Jordan - I am seeking help in knowing the history of Christians in the Arabic countries. We (Arabic Christians) find the church as our only source of information as other sites in Arabic are only providing knowledge about Islam. I want to learn more and more about my religion.
E., South Africa - Hi! I thank God for your lives and this ministry - I pray that God's blessing will continue to locate you and strengthen you. My question: I really love your flash presentations, but I don't know how to download them - everytime I have to enter the site again. If there is a way, please let me know. Thanks again for everything - this website really changes lives - my life was changed.
Pastor R.R., Nepal - Dear Brother John Powell, I was astounded by hearing that your wife has left you. I was a little bit hurt in my heart why this happens. After I read your "about this site" section I closed my eyes and prayed for you. I had the privilege to visit your web site and thought to write some words and wanted to let you know that I prayed for you. I live and do the work of God in Nepal. I do the work of evangelism and church planting. I would like to see many of our dear ones come to know the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. I want to meet you somewhere in the future if God will and seek opportunity to serve the Lord with you.
P.R., India - We are serving the Lord in India through evangelism and missions. We request your prayers. Click here to visit their web site.
R.O., Kenya - Dear beloved brethren, greetings to you all. l am very happy to let you know that your web page have changed my life from bad to good. Please help me to know Christ and His riches in glory in Heaven. Yours in Christ.
K.S., Tennessee, USA - Thank you for such a wonderful site! I am in the process of trying to design a web presence for our church to further His kingdom and the salvation that it brings. I just completed the "Are you good enough?" presentation and must say that it is very powerful indeed. Thank you. I know I have sinned and I am thankful for God's sacrifice of His only Son for my sins. Thank you again and may God continue to bless you and your mission.
J.C., Tennessee, USA - I just wanted to say great job on the website! I learned and had a lot of my questions answered about the rapture and the return of Christ. I am going through a divorce right now, which has been the most difficult time of my life. Having been raised in church from a young age I knew I needed to get right with God. It has been a difficult time, having my wife leave me after being married almost a year. But, God is my Redeemer and Strength and has been faithful to help me during this time. I am now closer to God than I ever have been, and know he has plan and purpose in my life through the mist of all that has happened. I've gone through more than I wanted to by the age of 20, but God is my strength now, and I know that He can make good out of any situation and He has already started. Keep up the good work. God Bless!
A.S., Australia - Your site is a real treasure chest and will help me greatly in doing the Lord's work.
S.B., New York, USA - What a great site! I find your thoughtful development of CyberTract verses plus concise copy, coupled with clean design and animation, worthy of His Truths. Of course, the entire site is also impeccably designed. I have spent a long career in advertising (mostly health care) doing print, video, interactive presentations and, most recently, website authoring. Viewing your fine effort reminded me that I once spent many weeks putting a personal evangelistic program together for the church I'd been attending since baptism 23 tears ago (at age 37!). However, the church elders were not impressed with the concept so I dropped the project. Now, as my one-man agency business winds down, I am once again feeling strongly called to invest my communication skills in apologetics or evangelism. Seeing your wonderful work gives me encouragement that perhaps there might still be a chance that God can use me.
Rev. D.W., Florida, USA - Thank you for providing such a spiritually uplifting web ministry! I am a Church of God (Cleveland, TN) minister who was radically changed several years ago when a member of my little church introduced me to the new teachings of Jimmy Swaggart on the Cross of Christ. Christ's Finished Work is now the basis of my ministry. Keep up the fine work that you are doing out on the Web. I will share your web address with everyone that I know!
A.J., Macedonia - I just wanted to express my happiness for the gift I received today, a beautiful copy of the Bible. Why I'm sending an email is to share with you my happiness about that. It was God's blessing for me, and not only for me, for I'm working as a professor in a high school in the Republic of Macedonia, and today I showed the Bible you sent to all my pupils. Here in Macedonia, the Gospel is not known very much (until recently, Macedonia was a communist country). All my pupils had great interest about seeing the Bible - they touched it, watched, and read something. Thank you again.
J.B., California, USA - Brother John, I formerly accessed your website when it was under a different address. I am glad to have found you again! I really appreciate the content you place on your site. The two contemporary ministers who have been an ongoing source of Godly and Biblical instruction in my life for over twenty years are Jimmy Swaggart and David Wilkerson. Truly we live in a time of "great famine" of the Word of God, as Amos prophesied. I am grateful for both Brother Swaggart and Brother Wilkerson's steadfast conviction that Jesus is sufficient and worthy. It seems that in recent years, both have been brought to a fresh and deepening revelation of the Cross. Brother Swaggart's messages and commentaries put me in awe of Christ's Finished Work. And, Brother Wilkerson's book on "The New Covenant" also strikes at the same theme. True holiness and sanctification can only occur when our focus is the Lamb of God! I also am thankful for the inclusion of past voices like A.W. Tozer and Leonard Ravenhill. In an hour when the church is being overrun by marketing methods and distortions of the gospel, it is so critical that voices which point us to Christ alone are heard once more. Thanks, John, for being part of that extension so needful in this time. I will be praying for you concerning the difficult ordeal you are facing. May God's keeping power and grace be upon you, your boys and somehow, in some way, upon your wife.
Pastor D. G., Sioux Nation, USA - We have just concluded our annual Native American Holy Ghost Conference. God again has demonstrated His awesome power to heal and draw many Tribes and Nations together for His glory. One California business man told me, "I have learned so much!" And to that I say, "Amen!" When do we stop learning? I pray never, for there is so much to understand and so much to give. Isaiah 28:9 says, "Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine?" Speakers for this conference came from the Carrier-Sekani Nation, Blackfoot Nation, Peru, and Puerto Rico. We filled the Grand Ballroom at the Reston Hotel Convention Center and many souls were blessed and encouraged to hear what and how God's plans are for Native Americans. We are continuing to see a great healing in the land among native peoples. True reconciliation will always lead to true restoration.
A.B., Philippines - Dear Bro. John, There's no way that I will forget you on this special occasion because you have indeed provided me with lots of spiritual support, understanding and kindness, like a father to his son. Last Sunday, many people including our pastor were blessed when I delivered God's word, I thank God for the anointing and thank God for using you to help me in the ministry He entrusted to me especially in leading our young people, now I lead the young people of 18 local churches (Youth Network). Thank you so much, I'll never forget you because I consider you as my mentor and friend. God bless!
G., Texas, USA - John, you have a beautiful website, and sometimes I feel as if the Lord makes himself known through your messages. May the Lord as he may close one window of your life, close it for a reason known only to him, to benefit his cause for you and your family's life, and may he open a door full of abundance, that you will know he's forever with you, and may you all always feel his presence in your home and with your children.
D., USA - Thanks for the article "When Heaven is Silent." I went through a divorce - my husband left me when I gave my life to God. It hurt and I felt like God didn't care for me. I backslid but God brought me back. One thing for sure, it made me stronger in the Lord. I have a personal relationship with Jesus - don't have a husband - but I've got Jesus and that is enough for me. I will never turn around. That was 17 years ago. God's praise shall always be in my mouth! Amen.
